MEP Project Design Manager

You will lead design teams principally engaged in Building Services with experience in high rise buildings and office blocks. You will plan and implement the project start up and monitor performance through to completion. You will require to manage the inputs from other offices as required .Although the head office is in Al Ain the workload may be focused in Dubai or Abu Dhabi wher we have additional offices.

Deliver the services to an agreed programme managing the Client's expectations, risks and opportunities as they arise and change. Develope and recognise new opportunities in conjunction with the Office Directors and deputise as necessary.

Reporting to the Client and to the Shankland Cox Commercial Management team on project performance. Be responsible for and managing the Project Commercially and be financially aware. Ensure Technical Quality through checking and verification by others. Operate within Best Practice processes to ensure a Quality Service.

Qualifications:

Essential – Degree in BS or Mech. Eng. With an electrical background

Desirable – CharteredEngineer CIBSE, Mech, Inst. Or similar equivalent , with 10 years exposure to a variety of projects including high rise buildings in Dubai

Experience:

Essential - Work in a Design and Construct Environment with (preferably) a Consultant

PM experience with a strong technical background to manage the design process and delivering to cost quality and time parameters.

Desirable – UAE experience.

Adaptable and open minded to the to the UAE
