Landscape Architect

Landscape Architect principally employed to work on site as the Resident LA. Deliver the services to an agreed programme managing the Client's expectations, risks and opportunities as they arise and change. Develope and recognise new opportunities in conjunction with the OfficeDirectors and deputise as necessary.

Reporting to the Client and to the Shankland Cox Commercial Management team on project performance. Be responsible for and managing the Project Commercially and be financially aware. Ensure Technical Quality . Operate within Best Practice processes to ensure a Quality Service.

Qualifications:

Essential - Degree in Landscape Architecture. 10 years plus of relevant experience

Desirable - Chartered (Exposure to a variety of projects on site principally with a hard landscaping background with soft landscaping viewed as a benefit. UAE experience or a similiar climate

Experience:

Essential - Work in a Design and Construct Environment with (preferably) a Consultant

Desirable - Adaptable and open minded to the to the UAE

Personal Characteristics: Leader of Teams as well as a team player Delivery focussed Strong interpersonal skills (managing both the Client and other third parties as well as the Design Team) Risk and opportunity aware Listener Self motivated and able to drive a project through from conception to completion Package The position would be suitable for someone who wants to develope their Architectural skills. A package reflecting skills and ability will be provided.
